In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for noble purposes and some for ignoble. If a man cleanses himself from the latter, he will be an instrument for noble purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.
- Warm welcome to all new friends and visitors to our church.
- Summer schedule: the church cell group meetings will take a break this summer, all groups are welcome to come to church for a seven week course on the Book of Ephesians (7/9-8/20). In the mean time, there will be children, youth and international student programs.
- Pastor John's family will move to Taiwan on August 23 (Mon). Sunday 8/22 after church please meet in the front lawn for a group picture.

- Executive Pastoral Team (EPT) Corner:
We are making arrangement for the transitional need for our church in preparation for pastor John’s departure after September. Your continued prayer and support to pastor John’s family is greatly appreciated. We would also like to encourage that we strengthen our prayer and support efforts to our church in the days to come. The following are what have been planned:
1. Candidating Sister Taichin Li to be our Associate pastor for the Chinese Cell Ministry and pastoral care. This is to address the need for stability and continuity for our Chinese cell groups which make up the core of our church.
2. The church's Sunday worship schedule is being prepared now till end of this year. We praise God for committed servants of God, like pastor Andy, pastor Jesse, Taichin and David Sorteberg that make up our preaching team. We also have a strong worship ministry to be led by brother Yan Chu and sister Chu Yi. We praise God for their dedication.
3. A senior pastor search committee is formed and will soon begin accessing our church’s need, contacting and collecting information about possible candidates. According to our church’s bylaws, the Committee has been formed by appointment of the BOD.
